Can I schedule my shows in advance?

Yes! Our system includes a scheduling feature that allows you to pre-set your broadcasts. You can create automated playlists or schedule live sessions to air at specific times.

Can I stream live events?

Yes, you can stream live events using our live broadcasting feature. You just need an internet connection and a Windows PC or Mac.

What about talk radio?

Yes, talk radio is fully supported with Citrus3! To get started, you'll need either a built-in or external microphone. Additionally, you can easily set up the service to allow guests to call in using Skype.

Can I integrate my station with social media?

Absolutely! You can easily share your stream on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Our embedded radio player can also be shared via links, making it easy for your audience to tune in.

Can I monetize my station with subscriptions or donations?

Yes! Many broadcasters accept listener donations via PayPal or Patreon. You can also use third-party platforms to offer paid memberships or exclusive content.

Can my station be listed in radio directories?

Yes! We support integration with popular online radio directories such as TuneIn, Radio Garden, and Shoutcast, which can help increase your station’s exposure and audience.

Am I able to run adverts and make money?

Absolutely! Most broadcasts feature advertising at regular intervals, whether it's sponsored ads, station identification, or jingle tracks. With the Interval playlist feature, you can easily automate the inclusion of these advertisements into your stream at regular intervals.

Do I need special software to broadcast live?

We provide everything you need with our plans. If you choose to broadcast live from your PC, you'll just need to install our software, which takes only 5-10 minutes to set up.

What is AutoDJ?

With AutoDJ, streaming is handled directly from the Citrus3 servers. Simply upload your content, create a playlist, and start the service. You can shuffle tracks, play them in a specific order, or schedule playlists. Once you're set up, you can turn off your PC and let us take care of the broadcasting.

Do I need a microphone?

Though a microphone is not necessary for music broadcasting, either a built-in microphone or an external microphone is needed for talk shows.

Can people listen to my station on their phones?

We offer a free personal radio app to broadcasters on our 'Large', 'Pro' and 'Enterprise' plans. Your listeners can download the app from the Apple App Store for iPhones or the Google Play Store for Android devices. Please note that you'll need a Google Play and Apple Developer account to publish the app. Additionally, our HTML5 player is compatible with all mobile devices.

I already have my own website. Can I embed my radio on it?

We provide a radio player, event calendar, and 'recently played' and 'now playing' features, all of which can be easily embedded onto your own website.

Can I have other DJs from other locations broadcast on my station?

You can create as many DJ usernames as you like and set their access levels to control which admin features they can access. DJs can connect to carry out their shows at scheduled times or upload their shows to the AutoDJ system.

Can I carry out telephone calls and interviews with listeners?

Absolutely! Our system can be configured to broadcast all audio from your computer. You can connect a phone to your computer to broadcast calls or use Skype for a cable-free solution.

Can I check how many listeners I have?

Our control panel provides comprehensive statistics and history about your listeners, including listening hours, geographical details, and device information.

Will I have difficulties setting up the service?

We're confident that our step-by-step video tutorials will make setting up our service a breeze. However, if you encounter any difficulties, our team is available to assist with a remote installation via TeamViewer.

What is your uptime like?

We guarantee a 99.99% uptime as part of our service level agreement. If your uptime falls below this, we will provide a refund for the period during which the servers were down.

I purchased a plan/service, however did not receive my broadcast details yet?

In most cases we are speedy with the install and setup of the service and a welcome email should be on it's way to you within 60 minutes. If it is taking longer, please reach out to support@citrus3.zendesk.com and we will do our best to fast track setup.

How can I contact support?

How can I cancel my service?

You can close your account at any time and without having to give any notice. To close your account please email support@citrus3.zendesk.com and the account closure will be processed immediately

Yes you can, just email support@citrus3.zendesk.com and request a link for a yearly subscription. This will also give you a 2 month discount

Do you offer phone support or have a phone number I can call?

I'm sorry, but we don't offer phone support through our support center. However, I'm happy to inform you that we provide tech and sales support throughout the day via our online ticket messaging system. Tech and pre-sales support often require careful thought and investigation. Keeping support online allows us to better help you troubleshoot your radio station questions quickly and efficiently. Our engineers can focus entirely on solving your support concerns without distractions, which means your requests are resolved faster. We believe phone support wouldn't allow us to provide the same level of effective assistance. Here are a few reasons why we use our online system: 1.
